Am going to try to get my middle schooler to read a few of these books, they sound amazing and I also watch the Challenger in school so am very curious about that one. And glad you are enjoying Ripley!! Isn't it lovely-and twisted and dark- but also just lovely to look at?

Yes! The filming is incredible and I can't wait to recommend to my son who is in film school. It feels very Hitchcockian, very classic. The acting is superb. I have two episodes left and so anxious to see how it ends (don't remember the Matt Damon film ending). Also, my inner CONFLICT is HIGH. He needs to get caught, so why do I find myself rooting for him to get away, what?!?!?) On that lovely note, happy mother's day to you, too :)

I felt the same! Rooting for him which seems crazy. I didn’t want it to end. Hitchcock is the best analogy.

It's good to know I'm not alone. It's so loooooong! And the language is old enough that my mind wanders away very easily...but I like the idea and totally believe in reading the classic. You attempting is helping me want to re-attempt!

We are going to her graduation in July and don't you think we should take Icelandic Air so we can have a two-day layover in Iceland?!?!? (trying to swing it :)
