Thanks for the shout-out, Amy! I've taught the beat sheet from Save the Cat Writes a Novel in my novel writing class, and it kicks students' butts, but they love it. I'm currently stumbling through INKtober and looking forward to a graphic version of NanoWriMo!
Boy would I love to eavesdrop on your Save the Cat class. And a graphic version of NaNo - that is sooooo fun! Are you going for word count or time or just working on it daily? I'm intrigued and you've got me thinking!
I did it a few years back where I just created one painted page per day related to the story, which included responding to a lot of research and old photographs since it’s historical. I’ve been working my way back to that story in fits and starts, but I realized as soon as I hit “post” in reply to you that I might not able to do it because I’ve got another deadline that I’m in denial about! I’ll keep you posted!
Despite I’m a different background culture but I love your events like thanksgiving and Halloween. When I was in the Uk I made a lot of fun celebrating Halloween.
Thanks for the shoutout! I’d be lost without my cheerleader/ accountability partner/ source of inspiration! Onward !
Onward!!!

Oh good :) Good luck with the deadline!
Thank you for this inspiring message! I’ve been languishing, needing a kickstart into my WIP.
I’m so glad to hear this, Carol! Let me know how it goes!
Browning!!! I love that poem so much. And what a beautiful post! Yay for Octobers!
Yay for Octobers!!! Happy fall - hope you stay safe in Florida with that hurricane coming…?!
Love the poems and quotes…thank you for the inspiration Amy! ‘I am a writer’ so simple and powerful.
I’m reading Intermezzo, have to admit it’s taking time to get into it…it’s not meshing with my mood at the moment I think.
Thank you, Paige! Have not read Intermezzo, but yes, some things strike us at different moments. Thanks for the comment - and for BEING A WRITER <3

One of my favorites!
