Hi Amy,

I wrote a psalm to get to the other side of sorrow. It didn't follow the structure, but it was cathartic. Thank you for the inspiration to take the time to write for myself...

Body Free

Mother, hear my plea.

Once reflected in the broken mirror,

Heavy judgment from others I see.

My body, my vessel, my ship sinks deep,

With the pain of rejection, toxic tears I weep.

Oh, Great Mother, hear my plea.

Help me ride new waves on the frequency of love,

Graciously bestowed on me from heaven’s rays above.

Washing away the predictable up and down tides,

Lifting me higher to the lighter, other true side.

Where acceptance of my body rests at peace.

In my heart, I hear words of comfort and make it cease.

Thanks to you, I’m body free at last.

Now, thanks to you, I can go of the past.

And breath…
