I’m curious about THE WISHING GAME. Does it lean more commercial or literary? Also glad you never lost power!

I think it's more commercial. And I have a copy of it that I would be happy to pass on! (or mail :)

I love Princess in Black -- it's the rare early chapter book series that gets better as time goes on.

(And thanks for the shoutout! I appreciate it.)

No Diet Coke for lent? That’s a tough one! I gave up chocolate this year - much easier.

Sometimes it seems kind of dumb or inconsequential for me to pick "Diet Coke" but I can have such a deep reliance on it, that stepping back from some of these unhealthier habits is good for me to examine... (I'm impressed with the chocolate fast!)

Not dumb/inconsequential at all!! I also rely on Diet Coke. I try to limit to one a day, but I would really, really struggle to give it up.

I'm a Pepsi Max fiend – I have moments where I go off it for a while but always seem to go back to it. It's a difficult habit to kick, so well done on the Diet Coke!
