Those pictures are amazing Amy! Your mother was a force. My mom also taught me to love reading. When I was little I’d find her in her bedroom or study with a book, completely content. We traded books all my adult life. We were lucky.

What a lovely tribute to your mom! And this, especially: "My mom would always rather read and learn than cook and clean." We should all follow her example! And feel no guilt!

Becoming an adult and mother, I was honestly astonished by the amount of mother guilt out there bc it seemed to not exist in my world growing up...I feel the weight of expectations on women, but it's not quite as engrained as it could have been, and I appreciate that!

I love this!! Your mom sounds pretty amazing.

And I'm so curious to see how your career "evolves"! It's definitely an evolve time for a lot of people in this industry, isn't it?

What a great tribute to your mom—I love it. As a young mother, I remember talking with a friend — complaining about not having enough time.

She said: you don’t have enough time because you spend so much time reading.

It never occurred to me that reading wouldn’t be everyone’s top priority.

I guess That’s the silver lining of having low energy.
