I'm so impressed with your creative efforts Amy. The visual stories look so hard! And I loved this message.

If you love creating like this, keep going. Who knows where it will lead or what it will unlock? Do it because you feel inspired. That is reason enough!

I really love this visual story-- I think you articulated it beautifully. I hope my kids turn out like your son:). Actually was just popping in here to leave an unrelated comment: I finally started Ten Thousand Tries-- I was on my library's waiting list for months, for some reason. I am completely hooked. Your dialogue is incredible. Anyway, I'm about halfway through and enjoying every moment-- even though Golden's story is incredibly heartbreaking, you balance the heavy "stuff" with plenty of humor--you've captured a group of 8th graders so perfectly!!

Love this, Amy! Your handwriting is great, too.

And you could use a scanner because I think you can take these illustrated stories further! I have an Epson V600 and it’s great.
