Oh, Amy, you will not be surprised to hear that I also light candles at 4pm, as well as turn on the acorn lights on my fireplace mantle. (I leave them up from Christmas to February because I NEED LIGHT. Also taking Vit D. Love your paintings! What a thoughtful gift.
This is the best gift you could ever give. Yes, it may look like refrigerator art, but it is still touching and will create many discussions. This gift may hold back Alzheimer's by a decade! Well done.
I get through January in much the same way: candles, exercise, and fresh air are nonnegotiable. But I also figured out, a few years ago, that if I stop *fighting* January and just try to enjoy it for what it is instead of trying to change it into something it's not and is never going to be, it can be pleasant, or at least not so hard.

I can hardly wait to read the next book. Hints intrigued me. I will stay tuned. Thanks for sharing.
You got this! Props to even getting this far. I think plotting mysteries is deceptively simple.
